November 2025 : Increasing local interest for cost-efficient hydrogen production
We are happy to receive interest from several parties in need for the environmental benefits and high economic efficiency methane pyrolysis technology brings. The forefront technology solution developed and patented by XGas are recognized to represent cutting-egde innovation.

XGas is building momentum towards scaling up our reactor and are in active discussions with interested parties in both Europe and Asia to accelerate our development and research work at XGas lab in Birr, Switzerland
Being a technology based company situated in Bergen it was also highly encouraging to be invited to present XGas in the Christian Michelsen Energy Center in the footsteps of Prototech. XGas founders Arne Godal and Agnar Angell Nilsen were both decisive and leading the foundation of Christian Michelsen Institute / Prototech and developing its core activity “space and energy” into success in the pioneer phase starting in 1988.
Re-establishing Fantoft as a competence center to power technology development Bergens Tidende 10.11.25 makes us even more optimistic in taking XGas into the commercial phase !
We are now ready with an improved reactor design to be tested and proven. Innovation Norway has given their support and we are therefore searching for participants to raise private capital to unlock this public grant.
XGas technology has demonstrated converting methane into hydrogen with very high conversion rate and efficiency, as well as nanoCarbon. Carbon is the backbone of lithium-ion batteries and producing battery-grade graphite is one of many possibilities in further development of the XGas technology.

October 2025 : Invitation to financial/ industrial participation
We are happy to announce that we have submitted the stage 2 proposal to the EU funding program HORIZON. We are very pleased with how Leon Lever and his team in Iconiq Innovation has advised and driven this important work together with us in XGas ! The valuable support we are receiving from Equinor and Innovation Norway are also of great importance in making XGas succeed in being qualified to this program.
October 2025 : XGas participates with stage 2 proposal in EU´s accelerator program HORIZON
We have another great news to announce ; Equinor Energy AS (“Equinor”) of its intention to support the European Innovation Council EIC/Eurostars project for XGAS AS (“the Project”).
´The XGas AS's two-zone temperature reactor design idea, which provides a unique method for controlling both hydrogen purity and the quality of advanced carbon materials, both of which are temperature-dependent could significantly enhance the capabilities in producing hydrogen and advanced carbon material in the future´.

• XGas AS is developing completely new technology for the efficient production of Hydrogen and solid Carbon based on current thermodynamics at total utilization of natural gas including zero emissions to the environment.

Desember 2024 : advertising invitation emissions for new investors in XGAS
Interesting article from Dagens Næringsliv that raises questions about blue hydrogen, where they refer to challenges with CO2 capture and increased costs in relation to production from natural gas.
XGas's pure turquoise hydrogen/ nano carbon without CO2 emissions with far lower energy costs will therefore be a very good alternative and answer here.
November 2024 : XGas´s turquoise hydrogen seems to come out well also compared to blue hydrogen
The board is working with major strengthening of the company within several areas to be discussed with the Shareholders. This would entail several proposals for changes to the articles of association.
The extraordinary general meeting was held and protocolled in XGas´ office/ Teams on October 29th where 70.8 % of all shares in the company were represented.
There were no objections to the board's proposals for changes to the articles of association. All decisions were unanimous.
